If the answer is yes, then you will want to visit the ‘Tis the Season for Science event at the California Academy of Sciences. This world-class interactive museum is only about half an hour from the Alpine Inn and Suites. Every year, the Academy creates a Winter Wonderland that allows visitors to explore the lives of our animal friends who live in the cold all year long. Special exhibits and activities include the Holiday Ice Rink which is open daily, the Life on Ice Exhibit, the Snowman Theater which is playing a film called Science of Snow, and lots of live entertainment all month long.
